Moderator

The moderator lamp is the successor of the clock lamp. The clock mechanism was replaced with a spring placed inside the oil tank, which, thanks to airtight, plunger piston, "pushed" through a moderator mechanism (a tube in which a simple rod of a specific shape is placed) oil to the burner. Two keys are located near the burner - one for tensioning the spring, the other for adjusting the wick height.
